Yes, similiar to Mournful Congregation but more staightforward. Heavy just about all the time. Much less fluff than MC. Better growls, too. The production lends the music a majestic feel. The only thing I don't like are the rare spoken word bits. If the next release has more of those I'll address them as Mopey Wanderer (... I mean it). You can trust Germans to put the fun in funeral doom. tr_🇺🇦

Lone Wanderer take Mournful Congregation flavored funeral doom and take it to a level far beyond just being a clone. Probably one of the most talented doom bands active today and this album is definitive proof of that mandybb

The reason is summarized in the reason why I love extreme doom: it's a matter of focus, intentions that never get diverted from one nature: the appeal for doom, and all emotions, visions, states of being the term implies.. It's a one-colour core that makes the whole. The limits of Arche's music embraces all doom is about; how can I not be very pleased with that? Bertrand Marchal
